Swift Sensors is a wireless platform with over 30 sensor types and a split track record of performance: a brewer said years of use with no issues, while a plant manager said it fell short on catching faults early. Both quotes are real and sourced.

TemperatureWise does fewer things and goes deeper on cold-chain work. Neither firm posts the other's price, so this page posts ours and states what we know about theirs.

What Swift Sensors gets right

Swift Sensors builds a platform that covers a broad range of wireless tracking: temperature, humidity, vibration, door, power, water, air quality and more.

Three things Swift Sensors does well.

30+ sensor types on one cloud screen. Temperature, humidity, vibration, door, water, power, air quality, tilt, light, pressure and more. One gateway, one screen, one login. Like Monnit, the strength is broad reach.

Set up is quick. No wires, no software to install. Sensors pair to a gateway, and the gateway talks to the cloud over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or cell. For a plant manager who needs it live this week, that counts.

Long battery life. Some models run 6 to 8 years on one set of cells. For a warehouse or a lab, that is a real win.

Swift Sensors has had a split track record of performance

The second quote is as real as the first.

Both of those users are telling the truth about their own time with the product. And the two views do not clash. A brewer watching tank temperatures and zone data needs steady numbers on a screen. It does not need the system to flag a dying pump. That is tracking, and Swift Sensors does it.

A plant manager trying to catch equipment faults before they become rush calls needs pattern work: reading the shape of the data, not just the number. That is a different product, and Swift Sensors does not claim to be it.

This split is the same one that sets TemperatureWise apart from most of the market. Swift Sensors fires threshold alerts when the temperature crosses a line. TemperatureWise uses a mix of thresholds, rate of change, data processing through machine learning systems and AI applied on top to deliver only the alerts that really matter. Broad reach vs deep focus, again

This is the same axis as the Monnit page: a platform that does many things vs a system that does one thing well.

Swift Sensors tracks 30+ types on one screen. That is the right pick if your site needs temperature, vibration, door, water and air on a single view.

TemperatureWise tracks temperature and reads what the data means. A slow shift in defrost shape. A unit that runs longer each day. A seal that lets warm air in at a new rate. Those clues are cold-chain-only and they need a system built to read them, not just log them.

If you need 30 types, we are the wrong pick. If you need one type to stop a $15,000 stock loss before it starts, a platform that does 30 things at the threshold level is less useful than a system that does one thing at the pattern level.

Where we fall short in this match-up

We do temperature and humidity. If your site needs vibration, air quality, water leak, door status and temperature on one screen, we cannot fill that role. Swift Sensors can. Water leakage and power monitoring are available through EcoWise, our partner product on the same backend.

Swift Sensors uses AES-256 encryption. TemperatureWise uses AES-128 on the LoRa tier and standard TLS to the cloud. For most cold-chain use cases, both are more than enough, but if your security policy requires 256-bit, ask us about your options.

Are Swift Sensors good for temperature tracking?

Users have reported steady, long-term temperature work with Swift Sensors, mainly in brewery settings. The platform covers a wide range of types and gives you a cloud screen, auto reports, and text and email alerts.

Where it differs from a cold-chain system like TemperatureWise is in how it spots faults. Swift Sensors fires on thresholds. TemperatureWise uses a mix of thresholds, rate of change, machine learning and AI to deliver only the alerts that really matter, so you do not get woken up for a defrost cycle.

How much do Swift Sensors cost?

A Swift Sensors temperature and humidity sensor runs about $150, and a gateway about $375. The cloud plan is scaled by sensor count. Both products are in a similar pricing band for temperature sensors.

TemperatureWise posts its pricing: $25 or $200 per sensor, $50 to $450 for the hub, and $250 per sensor per year with all features in, including machine-learning detection, phone-call escalation, and NIST-traceable calibration.

Can Swift Sensors watch a walk-in freezer?

Yes. Their wireless temperature sensors work in walk-ins and cold rooms. The system uses a gateway (Wi-Fi, Ethernet or cell) to send data to the cloud, with limits set for your range.

For walk-in work, the key question is the same as with any wireless setup: can the signal reach the gateway through the steel panel? Putting the sensor outside the box with a probe through the wall is the safest way. We cover the physics in will wireless work through a freezer wall.

How does Swift Sensors compare to Monnit?

Both are broad wireless platforms with 30-plus types. Both have cloud screens, threshold alerts, and gateways. The main gaps are in pricing, gateway options, and which sensors are in the list.

If you are weighing either one against TemperatureWise, the question is the same for both: do you need a broad platform that tracks many things, or a deep system that watches one thing (temperature) and reads the pattern for growing faults?
